I am a journalist experienced in print, online and audio, with expertise reporting on complex areas, such as public policy and research, for broad audiences.

I have edited magazines, large commemorative publications and daily online news sites.
Since immigrating to Australia in 2007, I’ve been specialising in health and education journalism.
I’m a regular contributor to The Australian and ABC online.
Since October 2013 I have been at the helm of Australian Ageing Agenda, reporting on the policy, programs and people involved in aged services.
After graduating from Dublin Institute of Technology with a journalism degree in 2004, I was a staff journalist in what is now called Irish Country Living, writing news, features and human interest stories – all through a rural lens.
From popular culture to politics and policy, I can report on complex, nuanced issues as well as lighter human interest and lifestyle stories.
